Claw GRC provides full-text search across all platform resources. Search is powered by PostgreSQL full-text search with GIN indexes for fast, accurate results.

What Can You Search?

Using Search

From the UI

Click the search icon in the top navigation bar or press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on macOS) to open the search dialog. Type your query and results appear in real time, grouped by resource type.

From the API

Search Tips

• Use specific terms -- Search for "MFA configuration" rather than just "security"
• Search by control ID -- Enter a framework-specific control ID like "CC6.1" or "A.9.1.1" to find the exact control
• Filter by type -- Use the type parameter to narrow results to a specific resource type
• Combine terms -- Use multiple words to narrow results (e.g., "AWS IAM access" matches evidence related to AWS IAM access controls)
